Push-Pull Closure

A Push-pull closure means that the cap will either open fully or partially to give access to either end of the bottle. Push-pull closures are typically the plastic caps that allow for easy opening or partial closure for easy pulling or pushing down to close. They are most often used on PET bottles, HDPE & metal bottles. For the plastic caps, they are available in a wide variety, including clear push-pull, foil push-pull, solid white push-pull, and the ever so popular custom push-pull. The advantage of this type of container opening is that it provides for a clean and simple look. These are typically round in shape unless they have a unique profile such as a square or triangular shape.

One of the disadvantages of using this type of container opening is that it is not compatible with all types of caps. Another advantage of the global push-pull closure market is that they can be produced in different colors and materials. There is a wide array of different closures to choose from. The global push-pull closure comprises a ring that is fitted to a threaded ring at the other end. Pins 9 attach this ring to the threaded ring at the other end. The reason why this device is known as a "tearing and piercing device" is that when pin 9 is pushed into the ring at the other end it creates a ripping motion which is experienced by the wearer.

This ripping motion helps to draw the skin into the vaginal area in order to help with the healing process of a wound. However, as the skin heals over time the ripping motion will stop and the skin will simply contract once again. With regards to the size of the wound that one wishes to treat then it is important to select a device that has a smaller ring size than what one would require.
