Complex Fertilizers Are Being Widely Used In Modern Agricultural Practices Since They Are Economical And Ensure Even Distribution Of Nutrients
Complex Fertilizers are a new arrival
in the fertilizers industry. These are specially formulated fertilizers, which
are required to be much more effective and have a quicker action on the soil
than regular fertilizers. The biggest advantage of these is that they tend to
be a bit cheaper than the other ones available in the market as they contain
ingredients that do not readily break down in the soil. Complex fertilizer
should always be applied in well-ventilated areas. Fertilizer that has been
left open in the open air can invite harmful bacteria and pests to flourish in
it. Users also need to make sure that they never apply fertilizer directly on
the leaves of the plant. Direct application on the leaves can result in
chemical burns. This can also result in contamination of drinking water.
Organic fertilizers must be used
carefully. These fertilizers are made of organic materials and therefore cannot
be mistaken for ordinary dirt. They also have the power of attracting harmful
microorganisms and insects that can destroy the garden quickly. When handling
these fertilizers, care must be taken so that no skin contact is made with
hands. Complex fertilizer can last long if kept in a proper place. It can also
withstand humid and wet climates.
Furthermore, if users wish to store
it for a long time, they can wrap it in a plastic bag and keep it in a dry
place like a garage or basement. Plastic bags do not allow dust particles to
come into contact with the fertilizers. Complex fertilizer should be used
within six months after raking it. Complex fertilizer will react if it comes
into contact with an acid or acidic substance. The most common acid is
chlorine. Recently, in January 2018, Sumitomo Corp launched Foliar Blend
super-fertilizer in India.
