NIR Moisture Analyzers Analyze Raw Materials, Intermediates, and End Products In Various Sectors
Near-infrared moisture analyzers, also known as NIR moisture analyzers, use microwave or radio waves in order to determine the moisture content in a specific area. This particular device can be used for a number of applications and it is essential that the operator who is using the tool knows what to do in case of an accidental leak. There are many different types of moisture analyzers available in the market today but the most common one is near-infrared moisture analyzer. This is because this type of moisture analyzer is quite easy to use and does not require any complex installation.
The key benefit of NIR moisture analyzers is that they are quite accurate in readings. The analyzer uses
a relatively short wavelengths to penetrate the skin of the container in which
it is working in order to obtain its readings. Because this type of analyzer
works by sampling the air surrounding a certain area, it is often referred to
as a wet passage. The sample is applied to a pad that contains mold spores and
then is inserted into a mold tank for analysis. Once the mold spores are
analyzed, the moisture level in the area will be determined and the moisture
content can then be monitored and calculated in a scientific manner.
In addition to being
able to determine the moisture content in the air surrounding a certain area, NIR
moisture analyzers can also determine the amount of saturated water present in
a container. The process of sieving through a thick layer of water is not
possible when using other types of analyzers. This is because the water is too
dense to be able to be separated out from the air. When using a Sieve, the
separation becomes much easier and the result can be far more precise.
NIR moisture analyzers are
an effective and robust technology developed to analyze raw materials,
intermediates, and end products in the food & beverages sector, Increasing
demand for processed food is thus, expected to boost demand for near-infrared
moisture analyzers. According to the U.S Department of Agriculture, export of
prepared food from U.S. increased from US$ 5, 849 million in 2015 to US$ 6,682
million in 2019.
